Townsville Twilights

Good evening all. Some good Top Hat news. Two twilights starts and two twilight firsts. Yep they thought the old Top Hat would be slow. Little did they know. So here's a cheers of rum to all us Top Hat owners/sailors/lovers. Good on us!!!

Well done. Nice to hear there is life in the old girls yet..... The year before last we had a Hutten 28 compete in the HRYC Top Hat event and it only nudged past us in the last 1/4 mile of the race because we made a tactical error. Top Hats are competitive provided there is some breeze about.

Great stuff! Jjvvss, you must be quick on the sheets and have a keen eye for the breezes. As wall as having a fast boat.
I know my Top Hat looks speedy just moored in the river with spiders building all over it. (The spiders eat the seagulls so I ain't complaining.)

Twilight update: 4 starts/3 firsts/1 DNF due to no wind. It will be interesting next week as handicapper has penalised me another 6 minutes.
